A maior noite da indústria do entretenimento está chegando em menos de um mês, enquanto todos se preparam para o Oscar anual , esperando ver seus filmes, artistas e cineastas favoritos nomeados para os principais prêmios. O 92º Oscar está chegando no dia 9 de fevereiro, mas segunda-feira representa o dia mais importante na preparação para o grande show. Na manhã de segunda-feira, John Cho e Issa Rae subiram ao palco para anunciar todos os indicados para a premiação.
Havia algumas coisas certas nas candidaturas na segunda-feira, como Joaquin Phoenix recebendo o prêmio de Melhor Ator Principal ou Era Uma Vez em Hollywood sendo reconhecido por Figurino. Então, novamente, houve algumas grandes surpresas também. A sempre fantástica Kathy Bates recebeu um aceno por seu papel em Richard Jewell , um nome que muitos não previam entrar na segunda-feira.
