Asegunda temporada de Castlevani faz com mais substância do que em sua primeira tentativa. Com 8 capítulos, que novamente têm cerca de 25 minutos cada. Com as peças já colocadas no tabuleiro, é hora de ver como Trevor Belmont, Sypha e Alucard partem em busca do poderoso Drácula . No entanto, a coisa é complicada quando, no castelo de nosso amigo Vlad Tepes, seus diferentes generais começam a duvidar da liderança do próprio Drácula, a quem vêem cansado e hesitante. Todos serão varridos por Carmilla, uma vampira que veio para colocar seus próprios planos em operação, enquanto Hector e Isaac, dois humanos sob as ordens de Drácula. , eles se perguntam qual o papel que eles querem desempenhar nessa rede de intrigas.
Essas novas sub-parcelas adicionam bastante interesse ao grupo, pois, por um lado, elas nos permitem ver como o exército de Drácula funciona , mas também expandem nosso conceito de vampiros com personagens de outras culturas. Assim, vemos um vampiro japonês, outro africano … Queremos mostrar que o medo dos vampiros não é apenas da Europa antiga, mas que eles estão em toda parte e talvez tenhamos visto apenas a ponta do iceberg nesta série. Infelizmente, a verdade é que muitos desses personagens mal trocam algumas palavras ao longo da temporada, então parece uma oportunidade desperdiçada para ver o que eles poderiam contribuir. Novas filosofias sobre o que significa ser um vampiro? Até poderes do seu ambiente? Tudo isso é um pouco sugerido, mas não apenas chocou. Uma pena.
De fato, o principal problema desta segunda temporada de Castlevania é a lentidão. Os personagens falam devagar, fazem muito trabalho, mas não agem … Felizmente, as coisas melhoram no segundo semestre (até chegar ao clímax em um episódio realmente fabuloso 7, daqueles que se assustam), mas nem mesmo assim, ficaremos completamente satisfeitos com nosso desejo de ação.
Existem batalhas e coreografias muito, muito espetaculares (menção especial a Sypha e seus poderes mágicos , que são uma verdadeira alegria em movimento), bem como sangue e tripas, como lembramos no da temporada 1 de Castlevania., mas ficamos querendo mais, são coreografias também contadas. Embora a animação seja bastante limitada, no sentido de haver poucos desenhos por segundo, é verdade que o design dos personagens, suas poses e movimentos são um prazer para os olhos. Dessa vez, Trevor Belmont e seu chicote Lucero del Alba tocam muito.
De qualquer forma, embora personagens como Carmilla, Hector e Isaac sejam adições muito suculentas, continuamos a ficar com Alucard e o próprio Dracula , que são tratados de maneira bastante diferente nesta temporada. Longe está sua fúria pela morte de sua esposa. Embora seu objetivo ainda seja aniquilar a humanidade para vingar sua morte, aqui o vampiro está cansado, cansado de tantas brigas e de tantas inquisições. Que repensar sua “energia”, por assim dizer, pode parecer um desperdício (queremos que Drácula destrua e cause pavor, lenha!), Mas isso nos leva a um relacionamento realmente interessante e até dramaticamente emocional com seu filho Alucard. atrasado. Sem dúvida, eles são os dois personagens mais interessantes.
Em suma, a segunda temporada de Castlevania melhora em alguns pontos para o primeiro, mas ainda não encontra um equilíbrio adequado entre atmosfera, diálogos e ação, ficando mais coxo nessa última faceta. É uma aposta muito interessante para os fãs da franquia , mas não recebe a intensidade de outras séries.O universo da primeira temporada se expande na direção certa e apresenta personagens muito interessantes, mas nos deixa querendo mais intensidade. Mesmo assim, é uma história muito interessante para os fãs da saga Konami.
