Os dois atores foram os protagonistas dos filmes live-action japoneses de Death Note.
Ryūichi Hiroki está a dirigir o filme e Shō Kataoka está a escrever o argumento. Yoshihide Ōtomo está a compor a música.

A história do mangá de suspense acontece numa cidade rural de caça que sofre com uma população cada vez menor devido ao envelhecimento e à migração ao longo de muitos anos. Mas quando a cidade começa a produzir um produto conhecido como “figo preto”, começa a trazer dinheiro e oportunidades de volta à cidade. A história começa quando Keita Izumi, zelador de uma plantação de figo preto, encontra um homem com um ar que é inadequado para a cidade.
